Interstate 44 Outer Road at Williams Creek        

The I-44 Outer Road bridge is located west of Route 141, near Lone Elk Park.

 

The Missouri Department of Transportation has reopened the bridge on the I-44 north outer road at Williams Creek, which leads to Lone Elk Park near Valley Park.

This bridge has been closed for approximately one month while crews replaced it. The temporary signal used for the bridge has been removed. Crews will remove the temporary one-lane bypass used during construction.

This bridge is one of 802 Safe and Sound bridges has been repaired or replaced before 2013. More information about the St. Louis region Safe and Sound Bridge Program can be found at www.modot.org/stlouis/SafeandSound/SafeandSound.htm
