2011 North St. Louis County Construction Projects

 

Interstate 270 from Olive Boulevard to Interstate 70- This project consists of roadway resurfacing and shoulder work. This project began in summer 2011 and is expected to be completed in winter 2011.

 

Interstate 70 at Interstate 270- This project consists of pavement repair and shoulder resurfacing at the interchange ramps.  During the work, there may be ramp closures to complete the work. This project began in the summer of 2011 and was completed in winter 2011.

 

Interstate 70 westbound at Interstate 270- This project consists of ramp improvements on westbound I-70 to I-270. During the construction work, the ramp will be narrowed. This project began in the summer of 2011 and was completed in winter 2011.

 

Interstate 270 at Coldwater Creek- This project consists of bridge rehabilitation. During the stages of work, all lanes will be kept open but with lane shifts. This project started in summer 2011 and was completed in fall 2011.

 

Interstate 170- This project consists of bridge painting on I-170 south of I-270 to north of I-70. There may be weekend or off peak lane restrictions during this work. This project is scheduled to occur from summer 2011 to summer 2012.

 

Interstate 170- This project consists of bridge rehabilitation on I-170 south of I-270 to north of I-70. There may be lane restrictions during off peak, weekend and night work. This project began in summer 2011 and was completed in winter 2011.

 

Interstate 270 at Interstate 170 and between Bellefontaine and Lilac and Route 67 from south of the Missouri River to Illinois- This project consists of pavement work. This project began in spring 2011 and was completed in winter 2011.

 

Interstate 270 Outer Road bridge at Coldwater Creek- This project is part of the Safe and Sound bridge improvement program. The work consists of bridge rehabilitation and the bridge will be closed during the work. Traffic will be detoured to I-270. This project began in spring 2011 and was completed in summer 2011.

 

Route 370 from Earth City Expressway to Route 94- This project consists of restriping and ramp improvements at these locations. There may be dual lane closures during weekends and at night. This project began in summer 2011 and was completed in winter 2011.

 

Route AC (New Halls Ferry Road) from Coldwater Creek to Route 67 (Lindbergh Boulevard)- This project consists of roadway resurfacing with single lane closures during the work. This project began in spring 2011 and was completed in summer 2011.

 

Route EE (Woodson Road) from Route 115 (Natural Bridge Road) to Route 180 (St. Charles Rock Road)-

This project consists of roadway resurfacing and could include some lane closures during evening, and off peak hours. This project began in spring 2011 and was completed in summer 2011.
