What's the problem?
Route 67 in Madison, Wayne and Butler Counties needs improvements to accommodate projected traffic demands and improve safety.
What's the solution?
The city of Poplar Bluff passed a tax to fund a portion of the improvements. MoDOT accelerated plans necessary for the roadway improvements and work is currently underway.
What's happening now?

What's the timeframe?
MoDOT expects the road to be widened to four lanes by the end of 2012.
What's the estimated cost?
$180 million
