Public Meeting Oct. 11 to Discuss Temporary Bridge Closure in Wright County
SIKESTON – The Missouri Department of Transportation held an open-house style community briefing to discuss an upcoming bridge replacement in Wright County. The briefing was held Tuesday, Oct. 11 from 4 to 6 p.m. at Manes Elementary School Gymnasium, 8939 Route 95 in Manes.
The project will replace the bridge over the Gasconade River on Route H, just west of Manes.
Construction is expected to begin as early as June 2012, with completion by fall 2012. This project does involve a road closure as improvements are underway.
