The Bloomsdale Maintenance facility located on Route 61 in Ste. Genevieve is currently for sale. This 5.49-acre site contains a shop, equipment shed, tool shed, tractor shed, salt storage shelter, two fuel pumps with a containment enclosure, equipment hangers and an above ground asphalt storage tank.
The shop is constructed of concrete block walls on a poured concrete foundation. The roof structure is wood framed with wood decking and composition shingles. The flooring throughout is concrete on grade. The building measures 73.5 feet by 35.5 feet and contains 2,609 square feet (not including the loft area).
The building has four service entries with 12 foot by 10.5 foot overhead door openings. Interior finish includes painted block walls and plywood ceiling cover. Other finish includes a partitioned office (10 x 15), a 2 fixture restroom and a storage closet. In addition, a loft has been constructed over a 15-foot wide area in the southern portion of the shop. The usable area (over 4 foot clearance) is also 15 feet in length, providing an additional 225 square feet of storage. Access however, is limited due to the ceiling pitch.
Heating is provided via two suspended gas fired heaters. Electrical baseboard heaters are situated in the office and restroom. There is no cooling available to the building. Electrical service to this building is limited to 100 amps. The shop is lighted by several suspended fluorescent fixtures.
The equipment shed measures 30 feet by 96 feet and contains 2,880 square feet. The construction is pole frame with metal skinned walls and roof. The flooring is gravel. Exterior wall height is 12.5 feet along the face and 9 feet along the rear. There are eight sliding doors that overlap the adjoining one.
The tool shed measures 19 feet by 9 feet. The lower 4-feet is concrete block and the upper portion of the walls are pole frame with metal skin, including the roof.
The tractor shed is an open face structure with a gravel floor. The building measures 53 feet by 15 feet. Due to the support structures, the building appears to have five bays.
The salt storage shelter measures 34 feet by 31 feet. The exterior walls are poured concrete for the lower eight feet and wood frame for the remainder wall and roof structure. The flooring is asphalt throughout. The shelter is open faced and includes two bays.
