Missouri Highways and Transportation Commission Awards Southeast District Projects

The Missouri Highways and Transportation Commission awarded eight of nine Southeast District projects on February 4, 2009. 

Projects awarded include:

• Project for Guardrail and Guard Cable Repairs
• Route 25 Dunklin County Improvements
• Route 25 Stoddard County Improvements
• I-57 Mississippi County Improvements
• Route 61 Improvements in Cape Girardeau, Perry and Ste. Genevieve Counties
• Route 61 Ste. Genevieve County Improvements
• Route A Scott County Improvements
• Safe and Sound Bridge Improvements in St. Francois County

 

The Commission did not award the contract for the Route Y Stoddard County Improvements at this time.  However, MoDOT intends to reopen bids for this project in March. 

The Missouri Highways and Transportation Commission also awarded one of the first Economic Recovery Projects in the nation on February 17, 2009.
