Utility Relocation Project Team

Focus:

Increase communication and coordination by involving utility companies earlier in the process. 

Idea to implement to consider including:

• Host bi-annual meetings with utility companies to communicate current and future projects
• Consider utility relocation issues earlier in the design process
• Include utility representatives in the project kickoff meeting for the core team
• Create a utility relocation project team
• Hold a pre-design concept conference (for each project & before design scoping) to involve all impacted parties
