2011 Highway Construction Projects in NE Missouri

The following projects have been planned for the summer of 2011:

-Approximately $10 million in minor road improvements

-More than 430 miles of new surface and pavement improvements

-Rehabilitating or replacing 41 bridges on minor roads

 

Spring/Summer/Fall 2011

Audrain County

Active/Current Road Work in Audrain County

Route E – Resurfacing from Route 15 south to Route 22, approximately 8.6 miles; bids to open Summer 2011.

Route JJ - Resurfacing from Route 54 south to the end of state maintenance; bids to open October 2011.

Route B - Resurfacing from Route J west junction south through Rush Hill to Route 54 just east of Mexico; bids to open October 2011.

Route KK - Resurfacing from Route B north junction to Route 19/54 at Laddonia; bids to open October 2011.

Safe and Sound Bridge Improvements in Audrain County

The following bridge is scheduled to be closed for rehabilitation only. The closure schedule will be determined by the contractor for the project.

Route E – Safe & Sound Bridge Rehabilitation to redeck Young’s Creek Bridge located north of Thompson; August 2011 (will be closed approx. 60 days) - Contractor - Emery Sapp & Sons Inc.

The following bridges are scheduled to be closed for complete removal and replacement on the following dates in a single Design/Build contract with KTU Constructors. This closure schedule is subject to change.

Interstate 70 South Outer Road – Resurface from Route B to the end of State maintenance in Warrenton, 4.4 miles-Contractor-Magruder Paving LLC for $201,753.31
