Improvements

in Warrensburg

and Lexington

Two projects to improve Route 13 south of Lexington and around Warrensburg are moving forward following design revisions.

The “Gap” project, Lafayette County, to relocate Route 13 south of Route 24 near Lexington, and the “East Loop" , Johnson County, around Warrensburg are both to be constructed as two-lane roadways to best use available transportation funds, with right of way acquired to someday add two more lanes.
