What is the schedule?
The current schedule is to begin construction in the spring of 2013. Construction requires two seasons, with the improvements and roadway completed by the end of 2014. This schedule is dependent on several factors, including right of way acquisition. Yes, additional right of way is needed to complete the improvements along this section of Route F.
How is this project funded?
This is a 10 million dollar project, and the Missouri Department of Transportation will contribute $4.5 million to the project through the innovative finance program. The remaining funds will be contributed by the City of Oak Grove.
