What is happening on I-35?
MoDOT is conducting a feasibility study to develop potential improvements for approximately two miles of I-35 in the Kansas City metropolitan area.
The study is intended to:
- Determine the current and future needs of the I-35 corridor
- Develop improvement concepts for addressing those needs
- Recommend a preferred range of solutions to meet identified needs in the I-35 corridor
On June 18, MoDOT officials held a series of workshops with local citizens about the needs in the corridor. Review the notes from those workshops here.
A follow-up meeting is scheduled for Dec. 9 from 5-7 p.m. at El Dorado Architects, Inc. at 510 Avenida Cesar Chavez/23rd St. During this meeting we will review the major themes and concerns from our public outreach effort and discuss the draft range of solutions.
The information that you provide through this online meeting and our customer survey will help identify issues in the corridor.
Your feedback can also help determine an appropriate range of solutions for
the corridor.
