Based on previous MoDOT and Kansas Department of Transportation (KDOT) studies and environmental and physical constraints in the corridor, MoDOT has no plans to add lanes to I-35 through the study area.  Likewise, MoDOT has no projects programmed to build a new interchange in the study area.

In addition, for the next 5 years, at least, MoDOT will have very little funding for moving new projects forward. However, when funding becomes available, all studies will be complete.
