MoDOT will host the annual family Big Truck Night on Thursday, April 26, 4:30 to 7 p.m. at the KC District office at 600 NE Colbern Road in Lee's Summit.

This is a family-friendly, hands-on event that includes lots of activities for kids of all ages, including:

• Tour construction trucks
• Play games
• Check out a demonstration by the Bomb Squad
• See police dogs at work
• Meet Mac, the Missouri Mavericks Mascot
• Meet CoCo from CoCo Key Water Resort
• Try the seat belt convincer
• Visit booths
• Get your face painted
• Visit the Caricature Artist
• Live Music
• Enjoy concessions from Superior Vendall (Proceeds benefit the Benevolent Fund, providing help to families of fallen MoDOT workers)
