The
field liaison officer , right of way serves
as a liaison between the districts and headquarters on right
of way activities to ensure uniformity and conformance in
right of way procedures. The position is governed by right
of way policies and procedures. Responsibilities are performed
under general supervision.
Knowledge
of business and real estate as might be acquired through
graduation from an accredited four-year college or university
with a bachelor's degree in real estate, finance, economics,
business administration, public administration, or related
area.
Nine
years of experience with the department in right of way,
including supervisory positions, or 12 years of experience
outside the department in comparable positions.
If
hire after April 1993 in Right of Way, substitution of experience
of bachelor's degree will require a waiver from the Human
Resources Committee.
Special
Working Conditions/Job Characteristics:
Work required regular, statewide, overnight travel
Background
in and knowledge of all right of way acquisition processes
is preferred .
