Boone County, Route K Shoulder Improvements
Online Public Hearing, July 7-15, 2011
MoDOT proposes to add shoulders to accommodate bicycle lanes on Route K in Boone County. The new four foot shoulders would be constructed along both sides of the highway, from Route 163 to the Katy Trail in McBaine. The work would improve safety for those traveling on Route K and complements the non-motorized transportation system improvements under development in the Columbia region.
